There are three main entities involved in the World Leadership Congress. The first is HOBY. This non-profit organization seeks to enhance global young people's knowledge of and exposure to the democratic process and free enterprise system, while at the same time develop their leadership skills. HOBY is the founder of the World Leadership Congress.
Another important contributor is the coordinating university, which is responsible for coordinating the event's itinerary. This year, the distinguished George Washington University has accepted the challenge.
A third contributor is UScampus, Inc. For all Chinese and Taiwanese candidates, UScampus is conducting student interviews and selecting participants. The organization is also providing a weeklong orientation program at California State Polytechnic University in Los Angeles.
