does the Program Include?
English Language Program:
The program includes 42 hours of English language study focused on using American English in practical day-to-day situations. In addition to classroom activities, there are many opportunities to use English outside the classroom on the US campus and during activities and excursions with American and international students.
Activities:
A wide variety of activities on campus, including sports, games, and movies.
Excursions:
Various sightseeing excursions to Disneyland, Southern California beaches, Magic Mountain, Universal Studios, Sea World, Hollywood, the fine arts and science museums, and a variety of shopping experiences.
Transportation:
Round-trip transfers between the L.A. International Airport and the selected campus and transportation to off-campus activity sites.
Campus Housing:
Student safety and security is a primary concern for our staff. Resident counselors live in the hall with the students. There is also UScampus staff on duty 24 hours a day to maintain a safe learning environment. For additional safety, access to the residence is controlled; visitors are required to check in at the front desk. In keeping with the collegiate atmosphere, students are permitted to walk on campus but are required to be in small groups.
Meals:
Three meals per day, seven days a week.
Insurance:
Full Accident and Sickness Insurance for International Students is included. If needed, medical appointments can be arranged and 24 hour/emergency care is provided by the Campus Medical Center. UScampus staff will make all appointments, transport and accompany students to medical facilities.
